Hey all! I know I promised I would try to post weekly and have failed MISERABLY! Being engaged, buying a house and preparing for the holidays all while working a full time job and having your own business = exhausting! So to make up for all those missed weeks please enjoy the mass amount of extra sneak peeks here :)
First off, I have to say a HUGE congratulations to my future sister and brother-in-law on their newest addition, Miss Allyson. I may be partial, but I think she is one of the cutest babies EVER!
We just happened to luck out in the fact she was born one week before Thanksgiving and were able to take some newborn photos while we were in town! They also happen to be the biggest Michigan State fans in case you can't tell by this outfit. I think they were just a tad happy their newest good luck charm helped win a championship. Props to Wes on this cute pic....
We also have been out taking mini sessions for the holidays! The wonderful owners of Kaleidoscope Farms in Rawson allowed us to come snap some quick mini sessions out there. The Brumbaughs and Robinsons came decked out for the occasion...they probably could have been in each other's photos they matched so well! Of course we had one of our favorite little munchkins Tatum out there for some photos. We are not used to normal smiling faces from her, so to get this shot we were beyond THRILLED!
Tatum had so many cute smiles happening out on the tree farm. A few of my personal favorites are seeing how she interacts differently with her parents...you can feel that motherly love and get a sense of the goofy times she has with her dad.
Tatum lucked out by finding a tree close to her size to hang out with too. I think she loved it :)
And how can we forget the Brumbaughs? From ridiculous jokes to me nearly kneeling in dog poop during their session, we definitely had a good time.
I believe this was after Matt said something ridiculous to Kari....which I'm positive happens on a daily basis. Seriously, they were a blast!
All in all it has been a CRAZY last few weeks! We are booked this next weekend, but are offering a few more mini session slots on December 19th and 20th, 2015 for those interested in getting pictures done! Check out our Facebook page or message us for further details.
Oh and by the way---since I'm sure you are wondering what our engagement pictures ended up like....Kate Morrow Photography in Grand Rapids, Michigan took them for us on a freezing cold 26 degree, rainy/snowy Michigan winter day which was ABSOLUTELY horrid, but turned out beautiful in the pictures! Kate did such an amazing job. Of course, we designed our own Save the Date (don't forget that is a service we offer--even holiday card design!) What do you think? P.S. To our clients: We totally understand how awkward the poses are we make you do---this was the MOST uncomfortable pose for me and I ended up loving it. So believe me when I say it will look good even though it feels awkward as all get out :)
